Originally from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Dylan Patrick moved to New York City to study acting for film in 2004. He received his front-of-the-camera training at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, graduating in 2006. Through his acting work, he found a great friend in Ron Rinaldi, who reawakened Dylan’s long-time love of photography. As we all know, sometimes pursuing one dream can lead to another, and Dylan began his photography business shortly thereafter. In January of 2014 after 10 years in NYC Dylan relocated to Los Angeles, CA.
He has been able to use his on-camera training and experience to develop his own unique photographic style. Dylan’s headshot style, known as the Cinematic Headshot, took form in NYC and he now teaches the style to other headshot photographers around the country. He is widely considered to be one of the top headshot photographers in the country.
He is a guest writer for Fstoppers.com, and in addition to headshots, aviation and environmental portraits, he also routinely does commercial hotel, resort and commercial real estate & architectural work for hotels, bars, lounges, restaurants, and commercial properties across the country. Images have been published in; Hospitality Design, AM New York, The Daily News, The New York Times, The Examiner, as well as various other media outlets.
Whatever your photographic needs may be, Dylan Patrick is committed to always doing the best work he can possibly do, and pushing the limits of his creativity in each shoot.
